Minutes of Town Meeting
President John P. Griffin, Sr. called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were Town Commissioners Charles M. Rhodes, Jr. and Edward C. Raffetto, Jr., and Town Administrator/Clerk, Nancy J. Lindyberg. President Griffin dispensed with the Pledge of Allegiance. The minutes of December 2, 2019 were approved as submitted.

Animal Control Ordinance: - TBD
Planning & Zoning: Janet Rochester said that the next Planning and Zoning meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 13, 2020.
Board of Appeals: Nothing to report
Budget Status Report: Each Commissioner has a copy.
Queen Anne's County Fire Marshal's Meeting: Commissioner Rhodes said that he met with Jeff Morgan and Scott Haas from the Queen Anne's County Fire Marshal's Office to discuss the sprinkler system issue regarding new construction and renovations.
CHVFC Installation Dinner Donation: Commissioner Raffetto attended the Installation Dinner and he said that it was a wonderful affair. He presented the fire company with a $1,000.00 donation from the Town.
Correspondence: The Town received a note from Arraminta Ware thanking the Commissioners for their memorial donation to St. Luke's in remembrance of her mother, Anna Roberts Ware, who had been a kindergarten teacher in Church Hill.
The Town also received an email from Bill Rivell of Keystone Power Holdings, LLC. He said that he looked up the Town's sewer plant address on Water Way on Google Earth and it looks like the Town may have great potential for solar at this location. He added that they have developed successful solar array systems for other towns such as ours, and they are able to do it with no investment from the Town, just an agreement to purchase the clean energy produced at a lower rate than the Town is now paying. Commissioner Rhodes asked Ms. Lindyberg to this in a file for possible consideration in the future.
Council of Governments Meeting: The Council of Governments meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Office of Church Hill. Fire Marshals Jeff Morgan and Scott Haas will be in attendance to discuss the sprinkler system situation. Queen Anne's County Comp Plan and current liquor laws will also be discussed.
Commissioner Raffetto moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Rhodes seconded the motion. The motion was pass 3-0. The meeting was adjourned at 7:58 p.m.

Comments: Janet Rochester thanked the Commissioners for recognizing her 40 years of volunteer service to the Town with a Certificate of Recognition at the annual Church Hill Christmas Dinner. She said that she was shocked and very grateful.
The next Town Meeting will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
