MINUTES
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
November 13, 2023
MEMBERS AND TOWN OFFICIALS PRESENT
Present were Planning and Zoning Commissioners: Janet Rochester, Marion Chance, Alicia Dodd and Town Commissioner, Edward Raffetto. Planning and Zoning Commissioner Robert Jensen was not in attendance due to illness. Also present were Tim Brenza, Town Planner , Gary Elson, Town Attorney and Nancy Lindyberg, Town Administrator/Clerk.
1. Call to Order
Chair Rochester called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm
2. Approval of Minutes
The Commission approved the minutes of the September 11, 2023 meeting
3. Public Hearing on 2010 Comprehensive Plan
Commissioner Raffetto moved to open the Public Hearing on the update to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan. Marion Chance seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Town Planner, Tim Brenza reviewed the comments and suggestions submitted to the Town from the Queen Anne's County Planning Commission, Maryland Department of Planning and The Bay Area Association of Realtors regarding the update to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan. Mr. Brenza suggested that the Town continue the Public Hearing at a meeting in January 2024 to review any changes to the Comprehensive Plan as a result of these comments and suggestions.
Commissioner Raffetto moved to continue the Public Hearing at the next Planning and Zoning meeting on January 8, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Marion Chance seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioner Raffetto moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular meeting. Marion Chance seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously.

There were no further comments and the Commission moved to adjournment.

Commissioner Raffetto moved to adjourn the meeting. Alicia Dodd seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 6:22 pm.
